How many people are allowed per site?
4 people are allowed per site.
How long in advance should we book?
We require 24 hours in advance, but would recommend booking at least 2 weeks to a month ahead of time.
Am I required to pay the full amount upfront or is there a deposit?
A 50% Deposit is required at the time of reservation. Reservations are not held or confirmed until a deposit is received. Deposits may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card. Final balances are due 14 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 14 days of arrival date must be paid for in full at the time of reservation.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Due to the nature of our business and the limited amount of space, cancellations or “no shows” do NOT qualify for a refund. However, if you are forced to cancel, we will gladly apply your payment less a 20% handling fee to a future stay within the current year. This of course does not apply to “no shows”.
Are pets allowed?
Absolutely pets are allowed. We limit this to 2 pets and require they are fully vaccinated and on a leash at all times. For Pet Friendly Wagons there is an additional charge of $25 per weekend stay and $50 per week stay.
What is provided in the Covered Wagon Rentals?
Its amenities include living quarters with a flat screen cable TV and air conditioning. Bedding is provided and guests can enjoy a shared bath house with a sink and flush toilets. The Wagons also have an efficiency style kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels are also provided.
Where can I buy firewood?
Firewood can be purchased prior to your stay and delivered to your site upon arrival by calling the office (607) 498-5264.
Do you have to pay for parking?
Parking is included in your stay and the limit is 2 cars per site.
Where is the nearest hospital?
Garnet Health Medical Center is the closest hospital to the Park. It is about 30 minutes away and located at 68 Harris Bushville Road, Harris, NY 12742.
Do the Wagons lock?
Yes the wagons have a door and lock on them.
Are there showers?
Although the individual wagons do not have showers there is a brand new bathhouse in the center of the Outpost.
Is there a minimum stay?
There is a two night minimum stay for weekends during May and June and certain weekends in July and August. When booking a Saturday and Sunday without booking a Friday night, weekend rates will apply for Sunday. There is a three night minimum stay on the following holiday weekends: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Columbus Day.
Do the Wagons have AC?
The Wagons come fully equipped with AC and heat units.
What activities are included in the price?
Besides hiking, birding, and fly fishing, plenty of activities await you and your family. With immediate and direct access to the world famous Beaverkill River, family-friendly adventures, including kayaking, fishing, and tubing are all available to our guests. We also offer bike and kayak rentals at our sister property, Roscoe Campsite Park.
